My Journey...

Over two decades ago, I found myself at a crossroads, realizing that I was merely existing and not living my best life. The weight of failures in various aspects of my life left me feeling like I had been dealt a bad hand. Can you relate to that sense of frustration and stagnation?

​The turning point came during a television moment featuring Les Brown, who shared his story of overcoming obstacles, being labeled "The Dumb Twin," and facing doubts about his potential. His empowering words resonated deeply: '

When Life knocks you down, make sure you land on your back because if you can look up, you can get up!'

Inspired by this mantra, I embarked on an 18-month journey, exploring strategies for bouncing back and cultivating a focused-driven lifestyle.

​Amidst the challenges, my life was marked by profound traumas – from experiencing sexual abuse and rape to the suicide of my grandmother, the murder of my grandfather, and enduring bullying and beatings after school.

Additionally, I grappled with a severe speech impediment, wore corrective school, and was labeled in school special ed., facing derogatory terms from peers.

​However, the journey didn't end there. Today, my story is one of resilience and triumph. I hold a Ph.D., have authored seven books (two best sellers), have featured in an award-winning documentary (Unmasking Hope), and have trained over 60,000 professionals globally.

Despite facing numerous adversities, I've built three successful companies, earned over 17 professional certifications, and received various awards and honors.

​I share my journey not to boast but to convey the message that success is attainable through hard work and resilience. Les Brown's wisdom continues to guide me: 'When life knocks you down, land on your back, and if you can look up, you can get up.'
