My Journey...

More than twenty years ago, I came to a hard truth. I was alive but not really living. On the outside, it looked like I was holding things together. On the inside, I was stuck. The weight of failure, loss, and disappointment made me feel like life had dealt me a bad hand. Maybe you know that feeling too.

Everything changed one night when I heard Les Brown tell his story on TV. He talked about being called “The Dumb Twin” and how he refused to let those words define him. Then he said something that hit me deep:

“When life knocks you down, make sure you land on your back, because if you can look up, you can get up.”

That became my turning point. I spent the next 18 months searching for ways to rebuild my life. I studied resilience, discipline, and faith until I created what I now call the Focused Driven Lifestyle.

My past wasn’t easy. I lived through trauma most people never see. I survived sexual abuse, the suicide of my grandmother, the murder of my grandfather, and years of bullying. I struggled with a speech impediment, wore corrective shoes, and sat in special education classes while classmates whispered behind my back. Every insult and setback became fuel for something greater.

Today, my story is about redemption and focus. I earned a Ph.D., wrote seven books, two of which became best sellers, and appeared in the award-winning documentary Unmasking Hope. I’ve trained more than 60,000 professionals around the world and built three successful companies.

Through Focused Driven Lifestyle Coaching, I help people find clarity and take back control of their lives. Through Focused Driven Compliance Advisors, I teach agencies how to stay compliant and grow without losing their mission. And through The Sacred Greeks Movement, I show believers how faith and culture can coexist in purpose and power.

Seventeen certifications, multiple awards, and countless lessons later, one truth remains: if you can look up, you can get up.
